Custom Tables & Furniture

Why Choose a Custom Table?

Mass‑market tables often use thin veneer over particleboard. Our custom tables are built using solid hardwood frames and shop‑sawn veneer tops. The thicker veneer allows refinishing if your table gets scratched, and our craftsmen can sequence boards so the grain flows continuously across the surface. We design around real use—no flimsy catalog parts or shortcuts.

What affects Final Pricing?

-
Wood species & availability: Rare or imported woods (e.g., rift white oak at $15.60/BF) are more expensive.
-
Grain selection: Book‑matched or sequenced veneers add labour and may require more lumber.
-
Thickness & edge details: Thicker tops or special edges (bevels, chamfers) require extra material and machining.
-
Finish system: Water‑based lacquer, oil‑rubbed finish or catalysed urethane each involve different time and costs.

Custom tables are ideal if you value intentional materials, clean design and long‑term durability. They’re not a good fit if you need inexpensive, off‑the‑shelf furniture or exact replicas of mass‑produced designs.

These prices assume walnut as the baseline species. Costs adjust with species choice, thickness, edge profiles, base design and finishing requirements. Exotic woods or highly figured veneers will increase the final price. If you’re flexible about grain and species, your project can remain close to the starting range.
