Hello!

I am a Portland-based woodworker creating handcrafted pieces through Portland Veneer Studio. My work focuses on clean design, natural materials, and the unique details that make every piece of wood different. Each project is made with care, intention, and respect for the material.

My Story

I started woodworking in Denver in 2015 at Paxton Lumber, I then moved to Maui where I ran Little Moon Service, a small shop focused mostly on building conference and dining tables for restaurants and resorts. My wife is from Maui, so we went there to be close to family as we started ours. As the seasons of life began to change we yearned to get back to our roots, where we met and where we love, the PNW.

Now we’re back in the Northwest where I grew up, living and working in St. Johns and running Portland Veneer Studio. I press custom veneer panels, build fully finished furniture, and take on select built-in projects when the fit is right.

I’ve been on both sides of the service industry, so I know how frustrating surprises and vague timelines can be. Whether you’re a shop, a designer, or a homeowner, my goal is the same: clear pricing, honest lead times, and consistent work so you know exactly what you’re getting.
